Some of the most beautiful dive spots in the world are located in the Andaman Sea. The Phi Phi Islands, with their legendary paradise beaches have excellent diving, with walls and small caves. On Maya Wall you will find an incredibly rich coral life, at Hin Bida you frequently meet leopard sharks, morays and turtles. There are so many more dive sites around the islands which attract divers because of their rich marine life and unusual reef structure.
Very famous are also Sharkpoint, Anemone Reef and the wreck of the King Cruiser; Sharkpoint consists of a group of three reefs with an abundence of marine life. These reefs are protected nature reserves. Anemone Reef is famous for it's wonderful anemones and areas of soft coral.
The King Cruiser wreck, is an 87 meter long ferry boat which sank on the 4th of May 1997, next to Anemonereef. All passengers survived. Today the wreck stands upright on the bottom at 33 meters and is a big attraction for divers. The top of the wreck is at 16 meters.
Ao Nang Islands provide excellent dive sites also. After a short trip you might be able to see blacktip reefsharks, nursesharks, turtles, morays, seasnakes, seahorses and an incredible variety of the most colourful nudibranches.
To visit worldclass dive sites such as Hin Daeng or Hin Muang we use a speedboat. After a little more than 2 hours we can reach these under water paradise locations where you can see mantas and sometimes, the massive whaleshark. On request, we also offer Minisafaris.
Leopard sharks, turtles, morays, scorpionfish, seahorses, gorgonias and colourful soft corals are the standard species you can expect to meet during the dives in our area. We also have access to caves for specially trained divers. |
